24 July.. The very day that my bro enter army.. My mum and Dar wanted to follow also but they only allowed certain number of ppl to follow due to to H1N1.. That’s why only Annie and me follow him in.. But it seems that no one enforce the two person restriction as I saw up till 4 ppl accompanied the enlistee in.. Quite dumb that such thing is allowed to happen as it is supposed to be an army camp.. I even saw ppl taking pic in the camp which is supposed to be banned.. No one seems to be doing anything at all..

Much has changed.. Training staff seems to be getting younger and equipments are better..

It is good that he enter now as he will be back before National Day.. Will be looking forward for that day..

Today, Dar Dar got her new phone all thanks to Wan Xin:)

After pondering for quite time and partially due to fate that the shop ran out on Nokia E71, she decided on Nokia E63.. Quite a nice phone I must say and the camera seems to be quite good.. Better than that of Sony other 2mp camera phones..

After Wan Xin and Dong Hao left for their movie, we went to have the highly recommend fruit tarts:) Quite nice I must say.. We had the fruit tart and strawberry mont blanc tart.. Yum Yum!!

The Kop Comes to Asia 2009

And I thought I am going to sit at the Kop..

When I went to Adidas at Tampines 1, they told me that they only sell North Stand tickets and there are limited outlets in city area that sells the tickets for the Kop Stand.. Rushed down all the way to Suntec and realised that tickets were sold out for the Kop Stand long long ago (ticket sales started today).. Had to settle with South Stand Tickets instead..

Why Can’t You See It

I just don’t get it why you just fail to see the point. It was not that we didn’t appreciate what you are doing. I am pissed at how was it being executed. Who was the one not treated with respect? When I am suppose to get it when no one told me or ask me anything. And you still got the cheek to ask me about respect. I don’t know what was being communicated but that was what was shown to me. A clear lack of respect and the problem seems to lie with interpreting the message.

This is not the first time that such thing happen. And you still insist that you are right. Why is it  that you are the only one that can’t see it. It is not that we don’t appreciate what you are doing, it is what you are doing wrong. What you are doing is not a good substitute for what you are doing wrong. It is two different thing and I just wish that you can see it.

I really wish that you can see and understand it from my viewpoint. Which i think is shared by many.

World warned of grim swine flu battle ahead

Updates on swine flu seems to be heading south after WHO upgrade the status to grade 5 from the previous 4..

Amidst all these.. I am worried about whether can I cancel my LA trip that we have paid the deposit.. My mum heard over the news that they will allow travellers to cancel their flight and get their money back.. It is situation like this where we have no choice but to give up the trip..

To be optimistic.. I really hope that things will be under control soon but I am prepared for the worst.. Hopefully we can cancel the tickets if that really happen..

Canon EOS450D

Something seems to be not functioning properly with my camera.. The service personnel said there is something wrong with my main board.. Perhaps it is factory defect as it is brand new..

Just wondering whether can they exchange mine for a new one..

Well.. Will see tomorrow as the part just arrived and I am bring it down to get it fix.. Maybe i can ask the staff whether can or not..

But i must say canon has brilliant service.. Quite proactive and quick to reach to their clients’ call. I called them just now in the afternoon asking about whether the part has arrived as the person handling it didnt call.. Less than 5 min later the guy called back and apologize for not calling sooner as the part just arrived.. I must say i am quite impressed..

Putting that aside.. Hopefully they can get my camera fixed.. Better yet.. Change me a new one..

HTC Dream (Google Phone)

HTC Touch Cruise

2 of the phones that I am looking at now to replace my sony ericsson k850i.. I had faith in sony ericsson once.. But time and time again they have failed me with the phone requiring constant repairs but unable to solve the problem.. Perhaps a different brand of phone can help..

What’s confusing is that both phone has GPS. But HTC Touch Cruise has internal GPS antenna and HTC Dream has GPS navigation capability.. Do they both meant the same thing? HTC Dream is quite similar to iPhone as it is running on android OS..

I am still waiting for the other 2 new HTC phones (HTC Touch Diamond2 and HTC Touch Pro2) that are hitting the market between mid may to early june.. Hopefully they are out before the Vietnam Trip.. =)

Dar’s Granny Birthday Celebration

This was quite a last minute decision to hold the celebration as Dawn’s auntie was flying off to England to visit her son.. Rush there after project meeting and gave the camera a test run.. =)
