This is really a struggle for me.
I can’t seem to find the kind of motivation I need to carry out what is need to be done. I chanced upon this website which help to identify what is impeding my progress.
Action Driven Procrastination
- Seeking Perfectionism and Micromanaging (This is a problem that I have always faced, I will try to do the best in something and I will keep redoing it, though I should try to complete a draft of the task and work on improving it instead)
- Over Planning (I will plan and plan what I want to do but always fail on the execution)
Feeling Driven Procrastination
- Feeling of Frustration (The feeling of not able to do something that I think is within my capability, I get frustrated if I am not being able to do something. I can’t seem to redirect the motivation to something positive)
- Feeling of Boredom (I admit that I hate repetitive things. I need stimulation to the mind and have problem motivating myself doing such stuff.)
Procrastination Triggered through Lack
- Lack of Focus (I get distracted easily, my attention span towards things varies and I have problem focusing on task on hand unless it is due in a short time)
Analyse, Think, Prepare, Motivate and Act

- I need to discipline myself to ensure that I keep to what I set myself out to me.
