New Chapter

After a long absent, I finally found the motivation to blog again. 4 years in NUS has been great for me and next week I shall be embarking on a new chapter of life. I’m so glad that I found work and thanks to everyone who kept me in their prayers=D So looking forward to work with Pops at the same workplace, though we are doing different things=)

I suppose the best part about starting work would be shopping~ So far, I have gotten a few pairs of shoes, pants, tops and a bag.. Still need to grab more pants and cufflinks to complete the ritual~~ Plus I need to use the $15 G2000 voucher by 15 Jul.. Shoppe Shoppe~~!!

Nite OUT

We need a break from all the cramping of notes and revision. After our revision yesterday, we went down to Liang Court to have our dinner at Tampopo. Its quite interesting as both of us had Liang Court in mind before we actually say out where we want to go.

Food was great and we even had time to buy a top each + walk around in Meida-Ya. We love walking around Meida-Ya as every turn and every corner seems to have a new discovery. A far cry from the typical supermarket we see all over Singapore.

It was a well deserved break, especially after Dar Dar had her first paper in the morning. Hopefully, we are fresher to continue our hardworking efforts to conquer the rest of our 3 papers =)

Decided to surprise Dar Dar by giving her a call to ask her to come down while waiting at the staircase .. The surprised look on her face was worth the wait =)

We headed back to my place for lunch.. Food seems to be the one thing that will entice her.. We had porridge for lunch.. And she seems only to remember luncheon meat and non of the other food we had..

Quite surprised that they have this V Day concert that is going around and it really brighten up the romantic mood..

We met Hafiz and his GF here.. So thankful of him for offering us his seats when he was leaving as that place is brimming with people..

We made our way back to Esplanade and back to the car as Dar Dar wanted to flaunt her flowers..

So glad that we made that decision as we met more familiar faces along the way.. Saw Chun and her BF + mysterious couple that we see everyweek but didnt know that they are together + Vance and Nicole..

It is not about what we do.. It is not about what we eat..

It is about who you are with and I am so glad that I am with you..

Busy

Been busy with projects, website, tutorial..

I seriously feel that I am neglecting my friends, family and my love..

Love is something that we got to give and take..

I am not spending enough time with Dar Dar..

Quality time..

Often which we are too bogged down with our own stuff that we are unable to spend quality time..

Hog’s Breath

A trip to Vivo City for Dinner..

Change of Venue, from 黑色会 to Hog’s Breath..

It just didn’t seem appealing enough at 黑色会 as there was no one in the restaurant..

A place that we always walk pass but never wanted to enter..

Maybe it is the location or maybe there are so many other things that appeal to us more.. It is a place that is easily forgotten as it is situated at such a secluded location in Vivo City.. Away from the food belt.. Away from all the shopping.. Tucked in a corner..

But once we were inside.. Things was not as bad as it seems..

Wooden furniture really goes well with the country feel of the place.. There is a small corner that has an in-house singer.. Singing to oldies.. What nostalgic feel the place gave me.. Perhaps the things that goes against everything was the 2 large plasma TV showing channelnewsasia and the exceptionally noisy crowd..

We had soup and salad combo, blacken prime steak and Tex & Mex combo..

The serving is HUGE.. It may not seem as such but the meal was quite filling.. Especially the Tex & Mex combo where there is this fried mexican wrap (looks like a gigantic spring roll) that is filled with potato and chicken.. Splendid stuff..

If only they had serve the food HOT.. Our steaks were cold when served but nonetheless it still taste quite good..

I was thinking for quite some time of where to go and a few places pop up in my mind..

But nothing beats this..

TRIP TO CAFE DEL MAR, SENTOSA

After missing out the last time when there was a private party.. Dar was quite sore about it.. But we got to go there eventually.. 🙂

Despite the lack of variety, they serve really great italian food..

We had Mozeralla Tomato Salad for starter, Roast Chicken with Herb and Fettuccine Champignon for main course..

We went back to Del Mar for drinks and basking in the sun..

2 cocktails.. Around the World and Cocktail Jelly..

Other than enjoy the drinks.. We still have to keep our drinks safe from the ants and flies..

Hmmm.. I would call this too much sun..

After a long hot day.. Splash in the pool.. We were ready to leave..

After walking to Nike and finally get our bottle, we went over to Asian Kitchen for dinner.. (we got the chamber!!!)
